Kitchen Shenanigans

So, we were having a little get together on the 2nd instead of the 4th for Independence Day and I thought it would be fun to make blue velvet moon pies instead of red.
It was very late and I was very tired. It did not end well. But, I have some pictures of the prep and whatnot going on in the kitchen!

I ended up making red velvet since the blues got ruined.

They were delicious.

I'm going to try blue velvet again when I have all the proper ingredients and a good nights sleep.
