I'm Really Awful At Coming Up With Titles...

I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas!  Ours was small this year.  Just family.  Very low key.  I got some really cool presents though!  One of which was my very own pink Instax Mini!
This was the one thing I really, really wanted for Christmas.  Unfortunately, there was a mix-up and I got Instax Wide film.  Oh well, I ordered mini film today and I can't wait to start taking pictures!
What about you?  Did you get something you wished for?  Or did you give a gift that was really neat?  That's always been my favorite part of the season is shopping for everyone else.  This year I made a Scarf for my Mom and Legwarmers for my Sister.  Maybe when my film gets here I'll take pictures with my new camera and show them to you!

I'm sure I'll post a picture on the 31st of something sparkly, but in case I don't, I hope everyone has a safe and fabby New Year's Eve!
Cheers!

Hung By The Chimney With Care...

I absolutely love this stocking DIY from Free People.  I definitely want to make one (or two or three) for myself... I just can't decide which one I like best!

Ellie Goulding 'Your Song'

I know I've been posting a lot of videos lately, but I promise that sometime soon I will do a post with some content. A friend shared this video with me and it is just so pretty and fall/winter-y that I had to share it with you, too!

*sigh*  Eventually I hope to figure out how to put text around pictures... It would be nice if I could control where it went instead of it going off willy-nilly wherever it liked.  Oh well.  I am far too excited to let my blog bring me down!

Things That Make Me Happy (Right Now)

1. The front page of Anthropologie's website.  It's a little stop motion film featuring their Christmas Ornaments.  For some reason it really makes me think of Toy Story... I think it's the music.

2. The Puppini Sisters Christmas CD

3. This Tape Dispenser from UO.  Isn't it adorable?

4. The Newest Martha Stewart Christmas issue.  It is full of sparkly, spangly things and is the first Christmas issue in a while that really makes me want to make everything in the book!
Sadly, I can't find any images of the new Martha... I'll have to take a picture of mine.

Hmmm... Most of the things that are making me happy right now are Christmassy... And Thanksgiving is still a few weeks away! Oh well.
I need to go bake about 8 dozen Christmas Cookies for a party tonight!

Tootles!

P.S. The cookies I'm making are from the Christmas Martha!  I was serious about this book being inspiring!

Happy October!

I can't believe it is already October!  Where has the time gone?

Do you know what else this means?  17 days until my Birthday!

I'm back!

Hello All,
I had a wonderful time on my mini vacation.  It ended too soon!
Hopefully, I will post pictures within the next week.  There won't be too many pictures to post because I ruined some of the film.  Boo.
Have a happy Sunday!

Let's Have A Beach Party! In London!

Well... Not exactly London.  I am going to the Beach though!  I've packed my Paul Frank beach towel, Sunscreen, Books (and books and books and books) and my camera!  There might be a few other things lurking in my bag, but that isn't very important.
I will try to take pictures (with my brand new Hello Kitty Lomo!) and perhaps there will be a post about it next week!
I
Also, hopefully, I won't be seeing the likes of that Giant Squid while I read in the sun.  I don't think I would mind as much if a friendly Flamingo, Mermaid, or 60's Rock 'N' Roller wanted to chat a bit.
Have a fantastic weekend!

Love Me If You Dare

I want to see this movie!  It looks so cute.  Kinda like Amelie  Here is the trailer.
The narrator is a little weird... But I think the movie still looks good.
Have you seen it?  Is it any good?

Best. Emmy. Opening. Ever

This is so funny! I especially loved Jon Hamm. Betty White's a good teacher. ;)

I want to do something like this to some tights.

Maybe to go with these boots?

There is a tutorial over here I've been looking at for quite some time.  I just need to buckle down and do it!

Cyclops Buzzer

This picture is a kind of old, but I thought it was really cool.  Someday when I have a doorbell of my very own, I will do something very similar.

That's it.  I need to convert my bathtub into a bed.  Altough, I would be a little worried about accidentally getting electrocuted with all the twinkly lights in there.

Scott Pilgrim VS. The World

I saw this movie today.  I loved it!  It was just fantastic.  The actors were hilarious and oh my goodness, the art direction.  You could have paused the movie just about anywhere and you would be left with a pretty picture.  That is something I look for in movies.  Aesthetics are very important to me.  So I will leave you with some pictures from the movie and a quote (also from the film),
"Talk to the cleaning lady on Monday. Because you'll be dust by Monday. Because you'll be pulverized in two seconds. The cleaning lady? She cleans up... dust. She dusts." ~ Todd Ingram

P.S. Sadly, I couldn't find any pictures that really show off how colorful this film was.  I guess you'll just have to take my word.

Moses Supposes...

I would love to have shoes like these. The flowery pair might be a bit impractical, but they would probably be pretty comfortable.
The glittery pair... I love the idea of them... But I am not super crazy about the style of the shoe. I LOOOVE the glitter though!

When I Am An Old Woman...

I want to have Tea Parties with all the guests dressed up as witches.
How much fun would that be? This might be something I have to do before I become an old woman.

Today...

Today has been a lazy rainy day. My Sister and I saw Eclipse today and when we left the Theatre it was pouring! Then we came home and I took a nap. Haha... I am trying to do a good blog post and actually have some text and not just pictures... But all I've done today is watch a Vampire movie and sleep! So... I guess this is it.

I also included a picture illustrating a quote I like a lot. Progress!
Cheers!

Christmas Inspiration

It may be a bit early, but I've started to make plans for Christmas decorations this year. I am very excited. So here are some of the pictures that have sparked my attention...
