Calloo Callay!

Yeah, I don't think the title has much to do with the post either. I just like the way it sounds.

I think today I am going to talk (A.K.A. Blog) about some things I've found online recently that have caught my fancy.

A) Rotary Phone from Anthropologie
I think this is fantastic! I want one a lot.

B) Tiny Shoe Ornaments from Anthropologie
So Cute! And they are much cuter in person.

C) These Cupcakes from Bakerella
These are just too cool for school.

D) And this song.

Well, I have started a scarf that I need to finish with the next 3 weeks, so I should hop off of here and get back to it.

Cheers!

So I hope you all had a very Happy Halloween! Mine was pretty good. I was The Cat In The Hat. I was going to be Dorothy, but I didn't get around to making my costume (details!)
I know what I'm going to be next year, so I will have no excuses if I don't get it done!
I can't believe it is November! And I have been getting emails about Christmas promotions! Crazy!
I suppose I shall bid you a fond farewell now... 'Til next time!

Books!

I got a bunch of really cool books in the past week, so I thought I would share!
I am especially excited about my Reader's Digest guide to Sewing. Even if I don't glean much from it, it will be so cute sitting on a table or something. And of course my groovy Sir Arthur Conan Doyle mystery book.
And I finally have a copy of Cyrano + Wuthering Heights!
Also, as you can see I got the rest of the Percy Jackson & The Olympians series. I wasn't sure how I was going to feel about those books, but I quite like them! They aren't as good as my beloved Sisters Grimm books (or at least not to me) but they are still very good! And I found out the movie is coming out in February (I think it's February) and Logan Lerman is playing Percy! I'm very excited about it.
I'm sorry the pictures are so fuzzy. My camera was acting kind of wonky this morning.
And I suppose that is it for this post.

It's a post!

It has been sometime since I last blogged! So sorry! I've been very busy, but nothing worth blogging about!

I made these little faux shortcakes for Independence Day. I admit though, I didn't make the bases. But that is Sandra Whipped Cream! In case your wondering, Sandra is my Kitchenaid mixer. They were really yummy!

Ok.... I guess that is it for now. I will try to do something blog worthy in the next week! Or something!

Comets, Cupid, and Pie.

I am rockin' out to the "Walk The Line" soundtrack, which I finally got today. I have been feeling very rockabilly-ish as of late. I am also listening to Bill Haley & His Comets. I love them!
So not much has been going on lately (which is why I haven't blogged.)
I just finished watching the "Cupid" series finale. I wish it was coming back. It was like having a brand new rom-com every week. I think tonights episode was my favorite. It was a take-off of "My Fair Lady". Except the girl was from Queens.
I encourage you all to watch the episode. And buy the series on DVD. It was a lite, quirky, uplifting show. So of course, they canceled it. Same story with "Pushing Daisies". *sob sob* I am still not over "Pushing Daisies".
But the Pie Maker will live on! If only in my DVD collection...
Here is the link to the flickr page where I found the "Pushing Daisies" picture
I just figured out how to link things from text. I am so excited! I will have lots of fun with that handy gadget!
And seriously, how could anyone not love "Pushing Daisies"? The 1st season DVD's look like pies! Adorable!
Ok.... Hopefully something exciting will happen soon so I can blog about it. I should have stored up exciting events for when I finally started my blog.

Vodka? Blood?

Ok, I just saw this on Etsy and I think it is really cool. I would never get it, but I like the idea.
Here's the link:
http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=26259374&ref=fp_feat_2
It was featured on the front page. Vampires sure are popular.

And on a only slightly unrelated note, I think I know what I am going to do for my Halloween costume this year. If I do it, it will be awesome. I also have...I don't know....6 back up ideas. So I am pretty much covered.

Lauren G. & Jerry Lee

It took me longer to do a proper post than I suspected, but here I am! At last!
The only problem is I don't really know what to blog about...Oh dear. I didn't really think this through.
Oh well!
I guess I will start with something sad, Guys and Dolls is closing on Broadway June 14th. This is especially sad for me since I was planning a trip to New York so I could see it! Yes, there are other things I plan on/want to do while I am there, but seeing Lauren Graham on Broadway was at the top of my list! So I will have to find another show to get all geeky about...so sad. And they didn't even release a cast album!
OK enough with the sad.
I am listening to samples of Jerry Lee Lewis songs right now. I am trying decide which album to get. Which is odd because I used to not like Jerry Lee very much. I think the reason why is the movie "Great Balls of Fire" That movie scared me when I was little. I think it was because he lit the piano on fire. Anyway...I guess that is it.
Hopefully I will have more interesting things to blog about later.

Post .1

Hello!
I finally started a blog. Yay!
I don't really have time to do a proper post now, but I promise I will later!
