Farewell, Wisdom.

I am going to have my Wisdom Teeth taken out in about 30 minutes.  I would appreciate any happy thoughts or prayers you have to spare.
I'm going to bid you adieu with pictures of some really cool dolls.

I Forgot!

I can't believe this.  I posted about my Sister's Birthday this afternoon and I completely forgot to talk about the big "thing" we did!
Well now that I have made it sound very mysterious and exciting, I will dispel any barmy ruminations.
We went to a "Moulin Rouge" Sing-A-Long!!  It was so much fun.  We went last year, so I guess it is becoming a tradition of sorts.  It's such a great movie to sing/quote along to.  I hadn't seen it since her last birthday, so I was pretty off on most of the lines.  The Thespian in me was most embarrassed.  I guess I will just have to watch the movie a few times this year so I won't find myself in the same situation. *sigh*  What an abhorrent task. ;)
I must leave you with a link to the best song in the movie (The video has the words/lyrics, so please sing-a-long!)This one is my personal (current) favorite song in the movie. (This video is subtitled in French!  See, I'm helping you expand your language skills. You're welcome. :D )

Happy Birthday!!

Wow!!! Two posts in the same week?  Talk about a miracle!
Anywho, my Sister celebrated a birthday last/this week (I blogged a bit about the planning a while ago.) and I am back with pictures!

I gave her David Tennant for her birthday.  Best present ever, right?  He's still mad because I gave her a fez for her birthday too.

Happy Birthday, Mac!  Until next year.. *mwa*

My Foray Into Sculpting

I meant to post these pictures a long time ago, but you know me... I... Um.. I'm not punctual?  I don't know exactly what to call delayed blogging.
Anyways, I did a clay workshop last month and this is the person I made!

Her name is Triska and she is a Witch-In-Training who works in a book shop in New York City.  She uses spells to fix old clothes she finds in thrift stores & vintage shops... As you can see, her magic isn't very strong.
This is Triska's familiar, Woody (yes... he's named after Mr.Allen.)

I had so much fun during this class.  The only experience with clay that I had had was a one night class in an introduction to art type thing about five years ago.  Pretty much everyone else in the class were water colorists, art teachers and one craftsman... So I felt very inadequate.  It turned out to be tons of fun and my teacher was fantastic.

Once she's been fired and I paint her I'll post more pictures!

Some Thoughts I'm Having

I wish I was better at expressing my thoughts.  That might be an odd thing to blog about, since that is exactly what blogs are, outlets for thought expression, but I’m really not great at expressing opinions and thoughts quickly.
Really swiftness isn’t the problem…  I rarely can explain the reasons for my answers promptly.  You can ask me, “What’s your favorite movie?” and I’ll answer “Scared Stiff.”  Then comes the part I hate.  “Why?”  I know why I love the movie, I just can’t really explain it to you.
Just now, I have deleted and re-written so much of this post, because I can’t figure out exactly why I’m writing it.  Although I know why.  I just don’t know how to say it.

Ok… I’ll just go back to posting pictures of shiny + sparkly things.
